Before and Afters!

I was working on some of Johnny's photos from eariler today,

I was the model this time,

(I use that term very loosely because I am by NO means model material, haha)

and I couldn't help but realize how much I LOVE Photoshop.

I've been using the program since I was in 5th grade 

and I'm still surprised by some of the things I'm able to do on there! 

When it comes to clients, I use it mostly for color correction and cropping.

But for my own personal art, I love to make things more whimsical. 

I'm not the best, and I'm certainly still learning, but I love conceptual photography.

Romeo {Newborn Session}

Hello again everyone, I've been so busy that I almost forgot about my blog! But I didn't forget, because this is too fun :)

Today we have 2 month-old Romeo.

His parents, Sammy and Omayra, had originally contacted me about a family session, 

but they then decided to have their handsome little boy be the spotlight!

 

Isn't he adorable?

 

Like any other baby, he was scared at first. 

I don't think he was particulary happy about a stranger with a black box,

flashing bright lights in his face. Haha.

Baby started getting bored of me after a bit, though. 

I caught the little guy yawning and he still looks adorable!

He started crying soon after, so I suggested we wrap him up.

His mommy gave him the binky to calm him down.

Romeo was warming up to me at this point :)

We ended the session early because the poor little guy 

was getting tired of us moving him around so much.

Two days later, we picked up right where we left off;

only with cuter clothes and more props.

This baby is not only handsome, 

but he's got the best name for future pick-up lines!

"Hey, my name is Romeo, wanna be my Juliet?" ;)

Haha okay I'll stop.

He's adorable!

Jesus Medina IV

Before I start this post, 
I want to thank everyone who has supported me thus far in regards to my business; 
I'm very grateful for all the support I've received!

Anyway, on to the cuteness :)

So I must say, I absolutely adore babies, even more so when they're family. 

So meet Jesus Medina, the fourth; only 3 weeks old!

Now let me tell you, newborn photography is incredibly difficult. Mostly because babies are very fussy and fragile, so it takes a long time to get things right since you don't want to upset them. But this little guy was so sweet and calm during the whole session, he's very photogenic!

He's also very strong, he can already push himself up off the ground. Did I mention he's only THREE WEEKS old?! :)

Oh and this little guy is most definitely a future soccer player. 

Runs in the family, of course :)

His mommy and daddy have every right to be proud 

of their healthy and adorable baby boy!
