Big Announcement!

So in the past month or so I've been working long and hard in order to get my business where I want it to be. Since I have decided to delve into the tough world of wedding photography, I figured I would need a partner to help with such a daunting task. And I though, "Who better than Johnny!?"

So here it is, meet my photography partner, and boyfriend, Jonathan:

He's a little ... a lot ... shy when it comes to being photographed, but he's GREAT behind the camera so far!
Here are a few of his first shots from my photography lessons:

Pretty impressive for his first day as a photographer!
The great thing about being a photographer is that you're encouraged to follow your own rules.
Of course, there are suggested rules in place, but they're to be used as guidelines more than anything.
 ...
So what's my #1 Rule?
To find beauty in anything/everything.

Jackie&Nathan's Engagement Session

I love photographing couples, and I was embarrassingly giddy when it came time for Jackie and Nathan's photo session.

We started things off at an old meadow.

Isaac, Jacob, & Zelda's Baptism

I was lucky enough to, not only be my niece Zelda's godmother, but also to photograph such a special occassion!

Before mass, all the Padrinos (Godparents) were to dress the children in all white.

The mass itself was nice, short, sweet, and private.

The party was incredibly fun!
Family, friends, good food, good wine, good music (courtesy of my brother, Daniel).
Oh and of course, good cake, made by my sister-in-law: Berenice!

I'm totally biased, but these are some the cutest kids ever!
